Remi Olutimayin started his professional career in 2002’

He is:

• The first voice director for animation in West African History
• The first African to globally ranked #1 for best African animation voice acting by SOVAS US
• The first African to globally ranked #1 for best Audiobook Narrator by SOVAS US

He started 2002 as a writer, producer and casting director for advertising.

He wanted to get the script interpretations right, so he started his Voice Over career.

In 2008, he started his Animation Voice Acting career.

By 2010 he started his Animation Voice Directing career with “Our Own Area” animation series that launched the popular wave of Nigerian animation.

In 2015 he was the voice director of is still the largest ensemble cast for an African audiobook “I’m A Graduate, Now What?”

In 2017 he started training voice actors and by 2020 he started Voice Acting Africa, an open community for African Voice actors and Voice overs to connect from anywhere in the world.

He’s also a Neurodiverisity self-advocate.
