Segun Arinze popularly known as Black Arrow is a Nollywood Actor, Director, Producer, Writer, Singer, Voice Over Artiste, and one time host of the Popular Give and take National Lottery Game Show and No Holds Barred a High Profile Television Personality interview Show. He is also a documentary film  Producer He was born in Onitsha, Anambra State Nigeria to a Yoruba father (Badagry Lagos State) and an Ibo Mother. Segun is gifted, creative, skillful and talented actor with execeptional interpretation of movie roles.

Segun Arinze career started way back in the late 80s. He trained as Actor in Obafemi Awolowo University under the legendary American Acting Coach Chuck Mike and Professor Femi Osofisan. He rose to fame after featuring in the Nollywood blockbuster movie “Silent Night”  a movie directed by Mr Prolific Late Chico Ejiro. His character “Black Arrow”  in the movie which he co starred with Ramsey Noah brought him to limelight and gave him the nick name in Nollywood and earned him  nominations in various movie awards and has also won multiple Awards. He hosted the fiery but now rested TV talk show No Holds Barred on AIT in the early 2000s

Segun has acted in over 200 Nollywood movies which include The Silent Night trilogy,  The Return, Battle of Love,Women in Love, Anini, Darkest Night, Invasion 1897, Husband & Wife, Extra Time, Fragile Pain, Across the Niger, Church Business, To Love a Thief, 30 Days, Family on Fire, A Place in the Stars, Who’s The Boss and TATU which earned him a nomination at the recent AMVCA Awards and Many more. Segun Arinze was appointed member of the Federal Government of Nigeria Covid19 Committee on the Creative Industry in 2020. Segun is married to beautiful Julie a  Lawyer and they are blessed with Children. Segun Arinze is a polyglot who speaks the 3 main Nigerian Languages was a one time President of The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) and currently the newly elected President of the Association of Voice Over Artistes (AVOA) Nigeria and remains a recurring decimal in Nigeria’s Entertainment Industry.
